Belvoir Program Staff
Janessa
(Program Supervisor)
Janessa is our program supervisor and program planner. She is always coming up with creative play and activities that has children fully embracing the outdoors and our full classroom often driven by the creativity of our children.
Tania (Program Support)
My name is Tania Denison or Miss Tania and sometimes fondly referred to as Miss Tana! I
am a Program Assistant and All Kids Belong Support at Belvoir where I aim to provide an inviting environment for all to thrive. With the support of a Resource Consultant from Merrymount, I aid and assist in the inclusivity of children with varying needs at our centre.
As the eldest sibling, I developed nurturing relationships with my sisters early in life and have expanded on these strong family values with my husband. Together we believe that family is extremely important and parenting is a profound responsibility and a lifetime commitment. For many years, I was a stay at home mom to our two children offering childcare in my home and actively involved in the school community. I volunteered with the Learn To Cook, Hot Lunch and Reading programs as well as countless school events and field trips. With now parenting teenagers, I strive to be present and supportive while encouraging independence. Along with my family, I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, games and crafting. Pinterest has aided my passion for creativity and I look forward to days of fostering creative expression with art and messy play!
Lori (Program Support)
My name is Lori. Being a Mom, having had a home daycare, and having a niece with special needs has given me experience, patience, compassion and a better understanding towards children.
I feel strongly about giving back to the community and working at Belvoir I feel I can fulfill that.
Working at Belvoir has been very rewarding. I am very thankful for the opportunity to be surrounded by nurturing family oriented values.
Christine (Administrative and Program Support)
Being a loving mother of two young children with a passion for nurturing young minds, I enjoy creating a supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow. I believe that every child deserves personalized attention, and I take pride in building strong relationships with both the children and their families. My goal is to inspire curiosity and confidence in every child I work with!
Attention to detail is one of my core strengths, allowing me to excel in my administrative role within the before and after school and nursery programs. I enjoy creating positive relationships with colleagues and families, always trying to create a supportive atmosphere. I strive to enhance the overall experience for children and families, making our programs a welcoming and enriching place to grow and learn.
